Software engineering studio
We build the software your business runs on.
Web apps, AI automation, mobile products, and cloud infrastructure — designed, built, and shipped by a small senior team. No account managers, no hand-offs, no code you can't own.
Reply within one business day. Fixed scope before any invoice.
Senior engineers only
No juniors billed at senior rates.
Fixed-scope first
You approve a written scope and price before work starts.
You own everything
Repos, infrastructure, and accounts stay in your name.
Ship in weeks
First working version in 2–6 weeks, not two quarters.
Services
Five things we do properly.
One team across the whole stack, so you are not coordinating three vendors who blame each other.
Web apps & SaaS products
Multi-tenant SaaS, internal tools, and customer portals — front end through database, with auth, billing, and roles that hold up in production.
AI agents & automation
Language models wired into your actual workflows: document processing, support triage, internal search, and agents that call your APIs instead of hallucinating around them.
Mobile apps
iOS and Android products from one codebase, with native modules where they matter. Ship to both stores, not just the demo build.
Cloud & DevOps
Infrastructure that survives traffic and audits: reproducible deploys, monitoring that pages you before your customers do, and bills you can explain.
Technical consulting & audits
A second opinion before you commit: architecture review, security and performance audit, or a rescue plan for a codebase that has gotten away from the team.
Illustrative engagement archetypes
What a project actually looks like.
Three shapes of work we take on most often. Every one starts with a written scope.
Operations platform
8–12 weeks
For a logistics team running on forty spreadsheets, an operations platform could replace them with one role-based dashboard, keep the existing CRM, and bring daily reporting from hours to minutes.
AI document intake
4–6 weeks
For an insurer facing a backlog of PDF claims, an intake pipeline could add extraction with a human review queue, measure accuracy against a labelled set, and ship behind a feature flag.
Platform rescue
3–6 weeks
For a SaaS product with failing deploys and no tests, a rescue could stabilise the pipeline, add coverage on the money paths, and hand over documented runbooks.
Client references available on request.
Process
Four steps, no surprises.
Discovery
Week 1
A paid or free scoping call, then a written brief: what we are building, what we are not, what it costs, and what could go wrong.
Design & prototype
Weeks 1–2
Clickable flows and the data model before production code. Cheaper to change a screen than a schema.
Build
Weeks 2–10
Weekly demos on a staging environment you can click through. Scope changes are priced in writing before we start them.
Ship & support
Launch onward
Deploy, monitoring, and a handover session with your team. Optional retainer for maintenance and improvements.
About
A small team on purpose.
Alozie Labs Ltd. is a software engineering studio. We keep the team small so the people who scope your project are the people who build it. That means fewer status meetings, faster decisions, and someone who can answer a question about your system a year after launch.
We would rather tell you the project is a bad idea than bill you for it.
FAQ
Questions worth asking before you hire anyone.
How do you price work?
Fixed price for a defined scope, or a weekly rate for ongoing work. You get the number in writing before we start, and we do not pad the estimate to cover our own mistakes.
How long does a project take?
A focused MVP is usually 4–8 weeks. Larger platforms run 3–6 months, delivered in usable increments rather than one big reveal.
Who owns the code and infrastructure?
You do. Repositories, cloud accounts, and third-party services are created in your name from day one. No hostage code.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, and we can work under your MSA if you have one.
What happens after launch?
Thirty days of bug fixes are included. After that, an optional retainer covers maintenance, monitoring, and new features.
What do you need from me to start?
A decision-maker who can approve scope, access to the systems involved, and one hour a week for a demo.
